Dan Ferreira, Clarinet

Dan Ferreira, clarinetist, is a freelance musician in the San Francisco Bay Area and founding member of ECHO. He has performed with the San Francisco Symphony, Oakland Symphony, Berkeley Symphony, and many other professional orchestras throughout the region. Recent performances include Mozart's "Kegelstatt" Trio K. 498 and Weber's Concertino Op. 26 in Gilbertsville, New York. In addition to his busy performance schedule, Dan held the position of Assistant Music Librarian with the San Francisco Symphony from July 2011 to March 2017. Dan has since followed his passion for food into a second career as an artisan bread baker at M.H. Bread and Butter in San Anselmo. His natural craftsmanship and artistic sensibilities inspire unique and wholesome sourdough breads. When he's not in the bakery or on stage Dan enjoys spending time with his family at home in their garden and orchard.
